Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is superb, being very close to the train station, supermarkets, and dining options, but the room quality fell short with basic amenities and discrepancies from website images. The service provided was unacceptable, with staff behaving rudely and shouting at guests, which cast a shadow over the overall experience.
The hotel offers a great shower and lovely toiletries in the rooms, but they are small and dark with a view to the back side of the hotel where old pipes can be seen. The service is wonderfully helpful and friendly, although the rooms may appear run down and dirty in some areas. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the train station and ideal for exploring Dingwall and the highlands. The dining options are varied and satisfying, except for some terribly cooked dishes that left me feeling unwell. Facilities are well-managed and make the stay pleasant overall.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, though basic, were comfortable with good showers and lovely toiletries, but some had issues like non-working TVs and heating. The service was a letdown, especially with rude staff shouting unacceptable comments. On the bright side, the location was excellent for exploring Dingwall, with nearby amenities and friendly locals. The dining options were satisfactory, offering a good start to the day. Overall, it's a place with potential if they address the service issues.
