The hotel offers a great shower and lovely toiletries in the rooms, but they are small and dark with a view to the back side of the hotel where old pipes can be seen. The service is wonderfully helpful and friendly, although the rooms may appear run down and dirty in some areas. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the train station and ideal for exploring Dingwall and the highlands. The dining options are varied and satisfying, except for some terribly cooked dishes that left me feeling unwell. Facilities are well-managed and make the stay pleasant overall.
